They don’t. I was interested as well in gray or machined. These are bronze. I truly love them.
Crazy how much the lighting of the wheel in the box makes it look silver. Hmm… wonder if they could be stripped and clear coated to be just machine finished. I’ll have to talk to Teraflex and see what they say. They look awesome, I’m just not thrilled about black or bronze.

I asked them those exact questions. I really didn’t want black. I was worried about these, but they’re amazing. What color is your JT? Edit, I now see it’s blue. They’d look great. If you were closer, I’d let you out one on yours. If you pass through Colorado, let me know.

Having had wretched wet weather experiences with BFG KM2s on my JK, I took my new Willys over to Big O and my friends there were kind enough to sell me a nicely discounted set of LT285/70 R17 BFG KO2s, along with a very fair trade in of the smaller 225/75 R17 KM2s, PLUS, rebates from both BFG and Big O. Frankly I thought the KM2 had been give a merciful death years ago with the launch of the KM3, but NO, the dreadful things are apparently still alive!

Well, I picked up my Gladiator today. I bought it last week, but couldn't take delivery until I returned from wheeling down south. This will be a pavement princess as my JL370 is my trail king.

Thanks! Timing is off. I was there this summer for two weeks, oh well. Blue and bronze looks good but I can’t help but think of a WRX STi every time I see it. The red of the rubicon with the blue and the black seems like a lot of colors going on. Like you said it’s too bad we’re states away. Back to your first response though, what did Teraflex say when you asked about strip and clear coat?

They said they didn’t know what they’d look like. They receive them already painted. My guess is that wheel pros makes them initially and they finish them. I had asked them if they’d just send me some before they were painted.

How does the air down portion work? Can you actually set it to a particular pressure or does it just have a massive hole for faster air down?

And they said they couldn't send them unpainted, or just that they didn't know what they'd look like so it was a risk to you?

You can adjust it from 18psi, down to whatever you want. I have mine at 15. They’re amazing. You just open the valve and when they reach the set point, the air flow slows to almost nothing. Then shut them. Air up is via separate traditional Schaefer valve, protected by a matching aluminum cover.

Couldn’t send them unpainted, and they didn’t know what they’d look like if I stripped them. They make gray ones in the other style of nomads that would probably look amazing on your hydro.

Thanks for answering all my questions :)... I'm undecided on what route to go, but the deflater feature of the Tera Flex wheels is a huge motivator.

I have them and another great feature is the changeable rash ring

It was for me as well, as I have two good friends with traditional nomads. I had witnessed how nice they are. The larger motivation for me was valve stem protection. I’d broken multiples on trails and was sick of flats for that reason. The modular rash rings on these are fantastic. I love that I can replace one of 6 pieces, instead of the whole ring. I keep a few in the Jeep when wheeling. They’re only $6 each to replace a piece.

I emailed TeraFlex and got the following response, you were more than spot on… “Hey Kris, Wheelpros purchased us last year and they now take care of the wheel manufacturing, so unfortunatly we aren't able to get a set unpainted. I keep mentioning a set of clear or machined finished in our meetings, because I agree, these wheels in clear would be my pick. We don't have anything currently.”
