How close is the side of your head to the fire extinguishers?

Technically I got to drive my gladiator through snow for the first time. I found some places where cold air is coming into the cabin. Not too bad of a problem when it’s 20 degrees outside but it will be if I don’t have it fixed when it’s -10 out.

seems like it’s coming near the lower corners of the windshield; I think up through the cowl cover; and somewhere else by my foot; I assume the door seal.

it was a little hairy before the roads got salted; by 8:30 the roads were clear but there were several people in ditches and at least one collision before the plows got out and salted.

good to hear, I’m 6’3” which drove me to ask. The side of the bottles didn’t alarm me as much as the trigger handle with the sharp edges…wanted to make sure you were packing extra butterfly bandages on the new Molle boards. Cool use of unused space.

I did this: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/wind-noise-reduced-70.67591/#post-1108139
I used sound deadening material purchased on Amazon for mine. I did find it reduced the wind noise noticeably. But I also discovered the air leaking into the cabin at the lower corner of the windshield had stopped. : )

I replaced the Skyjacker 3.5" springs for Metalcloak 3.5" springs. The Skyjackers seemed like they collapsed and they didn't provide enough distance with the bump stops. The swap of the rear springs brought the back end up over 3" so I'd say it was worth it.

Spring was in the air...

Aligned the steering wheel. First time I must of been in the garage crooked because after the initial adjustment my wheel was all screwed up driving straight. Took 2 more times to get it right. Could have been one more but I stayed in my subdivision second test drive and none of the roads are straight. lol.

I admittedly paid to have it detailed, so it’s close to the only thing I haven’t done myself. But they did an amazing job, inside and out. It looks new. They also tinted the front door windows to match the factory tint on the rear doors.

Finally replaced my windshield. I guess we’ll see how good Safelite windshields are this winter with all the road debris.
