It's a Rubbermaid FastTrack mounted to the studs. You can buy kits at Lowe's, and then add a few more hooks. The extra hooks are $16.99 each. I probably have $200 into the whole thing.
I'll check that out. Thanks

Added to the bed of the Jeep. Just in time for hunting season.

don’t mind the casual torque wrench hanging out, shit be coming loose here and there. (that’s what she said)

Cheers.

Finally got some Wildpeaks on the Mojave wheels I got from here. Definitely makes the gladiator look meaner and aggressive. Really happy with the look and will want to upgrade the turn signals and taillights next.

Added the requisite fire extinguisher…

IMG_0837.jpeg
Dang, next time look for the metal head ones if you can find one. The plastic heads sometimes lose pressure. But a dang good thing to have. :like:
Keeping a box of baking soda is handy too, many uses, smother small fire deactivate acids.... like the battery's terminals.
In June I bought another fire extinguisher for my RV and misplaced it.

Well, only "mods" was to put a velcro on paper towel roll in bed to keep it from unrolling and wipe my face on towel I keep hanging in back. :giggle:

That’s good to know. The last one on my jeep had a metal head. The one in my rv is also plastic. Like I said earlier though, it was total spontaneity at work here, when I realized I hadn’t gotten one yetā€¦šŸ˜¬

I've bought to many of the plastic head ones and found a few failed when needed. So it was more of a heads-up to anyone looking to buy a fire extinguisher. :like:

Easy to wax them while they are up there! I do that every Fall before I put the doors back on my Wrangler. Beats bending over at my age. LOL.

I'm surprised nobody said this yet.....Nice rack!

I was checking out that rack yesterday. šŸ˜Ž
it’s so cool even my wife approves. šŸ˜‚
My only problem is my wall space is limited so I have to set up a rack strong enough to put two on one hanger. My solution is to have hangers with gussets underneath to support the weight.
Now I just have to get time to build one.

Deleted the aux battery, pulled F42 fuse, and installed a new main battery for the old, dead main

Replay of me deleting the aux battery

Did you just leave the dead body down behind the fender well? I’m playing close attention to this because it spooked the crap out of me when two hours after I bought my Gladiator, a buddy asked me over the phone, ā€œHey, did they tell you about the two batteries?ā€.

I’ve spent more time on Jeep forums the past ten days since I bought it reading about this, than I did on Ford F150 4x4 forums for the 110,000 miles I drove it over the past seven years.

I removed the auxiliary battery entirely, bracket/holder thing too. Going to drop it off at AutoZone soon so they can dispose of it. Poor thing never stood a chance.

I left the leads but wrapped the hell out of them with electrical tape and tucked them so they aren’t dangling.

I drove about 45 minutes after the install, no issues. I’ll post back if I get any error messages or anything. Gonna keep checking the voltage in case I have some bad parasitic draw too.
