What manufacturer is that front skid plate ?
It’s the one that comes with the ARB Bondi Deluxe to fit the bumper.

The reason I’m guessing here, the Sun Belt doesn’t call for many tire chains adventures
Theres heavy snow in big bear and other areas. I see snow chains all the time ive just never seen some like this at least not on jeep tires

Last weekend completed the trifecta in Moab. Ripped off my amp research side steps on poison spyder. Broke a sway bar arm bracket on golden spike trail. but hey everyone was able to drive out so good day.🤕

Held a little prayer 🙏 vigil as I threw the side steps away back in town.😭

I just ordered replacement arms from metal cloak and rockslide engineering side steps. 🤑That way I don't have to climb in anymore. Man I am old.

What is it they say JEEP... Just empty every pocket. 🫥

In sitting here staring at my jeep trying to decide if I really feel like removing the aux battery.

I can’t believe these evil bastards at FCA put this dumb ass auxiliary battery behind the annoying fuck fender liner. What demon at FCA designed this? I’m gonna throw this liner in the ocean and light the aux battery on fire in front of Stellantis HQ (not really, relax Admin).

Seriously I hate these liners, my god.

They're honestly probably overkill. They're the same ones that LAVs use, spent three months in the Norwegian mountains relying on them to keep me from sliding off cliffs of some rather narrow, steep, icy roads. My 37s fit them surprisingly enough with some adjusting. Then I was bored and on ebay and happened to run across a set of 4 for 300$ so it was a no brainer for me at least. I adjusted them today and trimmed the tails so they won't be whipping around whole driving.

Nah you have it backwards, car batteries go in the oceans to recharge the electric eels. Burn the liner in front of FCA HQ.

It’s super easy to remove the fender flare and liner as an assembly. 5 bolts and pull the flare out and up a little. Just get some white clips in advance for the ones you break. I’ve had mine off several times and haven’t touched the liner yet.

Stage 1. LOD Black Ops shorty bumper install. Waiting on fog light bezels. Planning Zeon for the winch, not yet purchased. I did have a gripe, they sent "all required hardware" except the nuts were mismatched. The directions stated to use the 7/16 x 1 1/2 inch bolts with the provided 7/16-14 nuts but they included 1/2-13 nuts. 🤔 I used the 1/2-13 nuts and upgraded to 1/2-13 bolts for the frame mounts since the holes were big enough.

Gonna give that a try instead. I promised myself awhile back that the next time I mess with those liners, it will be to replace them lol. I’ll save that for another time.

Fair. I wish you were closer. I’d have given you one for a spare. I’ve got one with a cosmetic sidewall gash with tons of tread left.
What size? I have LT315/70R17 Wildpeaks but anything is probably better then having to throw the 31" spare on there.

Hot 98° day today down in The Valley. Threw on the tube doors, and finished the door rack on the garage wall. Optional door day is always the best day.

Just stumbled across this thread, so a few of these were done earlier. Anything painted was as close to Mojave Orange as I could get.

Hooke Road dead pedal
Hooke Road side step bars
Replaced handles on Freedom panels
Paracord grab handles
Painted fender vent trim
1941 vent decals
Painted vent trim between wipers
Painted/added window switch trim
Installed sunshade
Name decal on Mojave hood scoop

Actually done today:
Painted fog light trim
Painted grille/headlight trim

If you haven't removed the fenders before, it's pretty easy. I was on the phone with WIldhobo the first time I did mine and he walked me through everything. I was afraid I was going to break something on my 2 month old truck but he convinced me otherwise. Just make sure you get spare clips first as you never know how many are going to break and make sure you remove all 5 bolts. My advice would be to start at the bottom near the door and use a pry tool to get those 2 or 3 clips to break loose. Then just start pulling and working your way toward the front of the truck. I was very apprehensive the first time but much more comfortable the second time.

I like the door rack. Did you buy that or make it. Would love some more details.

It's a Rubbermaid FastTrack mounted to the studs. You can buy kits at Lowe's, and then add a few more hooks. The extra hooks are $16.99 each. I probably have $200 into the whole thing.

Thanks for the tips. I actually just threw away the spare clips I had from the last time I took the fenders off a couple years back *face palm*
