Gotcha. Was in Orlando this past June for a week with 2 couple of the kids and grandkids. I'll put this in my memory bank for the future since I believe we will be down there somewhere, most likely.

Last weekend, we thought we‘d install the XKGlow Vent lights but realized…. the install wasn’t nearly as easy as all the videos and information let you to believe.
Last week… I ordered 2 packs of white clips and 1 pak of Christmas tree clips.

We used to wrench all the time when we were younger. As you age, I think you lose patience and motivation. Not only that, but working on a new vehicles (2024 Mojave) is intimidating. We were so afraid to break, bend, or ruin anything.

We decided to drop as much of the inner fender that we could. We did not remove any rivots…. Removed all the Christmas Tree cLips. We were able to peel back the inner fender enough to get behind the white clips and use a needle nose to pop them loose. Believe it or not…we only broke ONE white clip (on the front passenger side).

It took a bit to understand the wiring… as the instructions aren’t very good. The hubby had a volt meter and he ran ‘temporary’ wiring just to run TESTS to make sure he understood the wiring.

Everything looks good … My husband routed the wiring to the battery with a fuse - tucked everything away so everything was clean.

The bad thing is……We did put a big scratch on the fender when it was pulled down. That has nothing to do with the install…just shit happens (Did I mention, we‘re afraid to break stuff)?

Just curious. What part of FL? Hope to retire in a couple of years or so and we may move down there. Have one of the kids in Inverness, one moving to Panama City spring/summer on 2025 and another possibly moving somewhere (not sure of location yet) in FL in 2025 to continue to his medical practice. Hope to find some fellow Gladiator peeps when/if we move there.

i got a chuckle out of your question about moving to FL. we lived in upstate NY prior to retiring to FL. by the grace of God our timing to buy and sell in FL, 3 times in 6 years, yielded us a nice windfall. we used it to buy a new house in......... wait for it..... GA. our new home would easily be $250k more in brevard county fl. we were extremely fortunate to ride the wave of rising home prices. we absolutely enjoyed everything about FL living except the insane homeowners and auto insurance prices. if i may throw out some advice and if you haven't already, ask a FL insurance agent about roof coverage.
my bride is on facebook. when living in FL, she discovered a fantastic group of jeepers called "florida trail stompers". best group of people i've ever had the pleasure of meeting. although we did not live the same area as most members, joining the group was certainly allowed.
i wish you well in your retirement plans. one statement we have heard for years is that the kindest people live in the south. our wonderful life in spalding county is a testament to that statement.

i run a 4.5" lift with 40" tires. my 5'2", soon to turn 65, bride hops in and out like nobodies business. part of that is because it is our only ride!

I compressed the spring with ratchet straps and wrestled that bastard the first time i installed my lift springs, it sucked.

I got smarter the second time when i did 4" rear springs and disconnected about 80% of the axle to allow maximum droop popped the springs in and just jack the axle back up and re connected everything.
