I’ve never seen chrome on a stock gladiator. Did you buy it new?Installed some Rock Hard 4x4 RHX sliders. These things are tough! Replaced the stock chrome tube steps. Why did Jeep put chrome steps on a Mojave?

Yep. Brand New. These were a $900 option. I asked the dealer if they could be removed, but obviously they couldn't. I can't believe they even put them on there. I would have much rather have had the Rubicon rails.I’ve never seen chrome on a stock gladiator. Did you buy it new?
Sounds like a on site dealer add on. I dont think Jeep offers chrome from the factory. Dealers put dumb stuff on vehicles.Yep. Brand New. These were a $900 option. I was about the ask the same question. At least they didn't do the diamond plate right angle ill-fitting dangle-angle running boards, they at least kept it in the 2000's.Yep. Brand New. I learned something new today. Thanks. But I agree. That’s a weird option for a Jeep with black and color.Yep. Brand New. These were a $900 option. That’s a new one for me, but clearly factory. I’m guessing it was a special order where the buyer bailed. It's a line item on the window sticker. $895

They could be worse, but I like your rock hard steps loads better. You clearly have excellent judgement.
We could mess those up real fast.
no chrome steps on my Mojave. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before. Probably a dealer installed option.Installed some Rock Hard 4x4 RHX sliders. These things are tough! Replaced the stock chrome tube steps. Why did Jeep put chrome steps on a Mojave?
