Yes, I flipped the drag link as well.
How may I ask are you flipping the drag link aren't the tie rod holes tappered ??
Whats the best way to get that drag link loose with out having to use a 25" pry bar and Thor's hammer on the C.

You drill it straight through and the kit comes with a tappered sleeve you insert from the top. To get loose 1/2in impact and get a tie rod puller or tap on knuckle till it pops out.

Literally the only suspension or steering part that hasn't been changed is the side to side tie rod......and I will be getting that w/I the month.

After that will be the Hellwig rear sway bar. When I get my bonus in March/April I will be upgrading to the MC Black Sport bypass shocks. They will be full length so then I can remove the shock relocation brackets front & rear and have more travel.

Again, I appreciate everyones experience and knowledge.
At least someone is getting a bonus .. I just got the bone.

Yeah, with the MC drag link...the flip requires drilling the knuckle out with a 7/8" drill bit, install the provided sleeve from the top side and move on.

The sleeve for the flip kit came with the MC front track bar relocation kit

It's for when you do a lift from 3.5in or higher. You flip it and raise your track bar to get your geometry closer to stock. Easier on steer components and better driveability.

Yeah over 3.5" the angle on the drag link will cause premature wear on the link ends because of the aggressive angles, the flip mitigates this

Definitely did not know this. I am only @2.5 so I haven't had any issues my stuff is still tight. Just switching the DL bar because I got a 112,000 miles on it and figured now was as good a time as any to shape some crap up . Already did the track bar suspension, shocks etc... next will be the pitman arm

I was told by steersmarts not to go top mount until after 4.5”. Also, the track bar and drag link need to be parallel. If they’re not, you can cause death wobble that way. Meaning you shouldn’t go top mount on the drag link without raising the track bar. The reason to not flip prematurely is because you can hit things above if you’re not lifted enough.

I'm now on the MC GC 4.5 kit. I moved the stabilizer after I finished the lift on Tuesday

Ordered front Rockblokz XL mud flaps. They arrived today. Funny, they included a package of Smartees too. Anyone else get them when they ordered?
