Fabricated an aluminum bracket to install a WARN solenoid for my WARN Evo 10 winch (once I received the GRIMM Offroad winch plate 😒) and installed the solenoid. Please, please, please will Northridge4x4 send me the winch plate?! **If any electricians notice that I didn't install the isolators, I did it after the pictures were taken.**

Finished up the Armorlite install today after the rain passed this morning, boy tucking that flooring under the trim and getting it to all fit right is tight.............But it looks so good...

That looks awesome. Quick question, was there a warning label for high heat on the transmission tunnel under the carpet, driver's side? I know the TJ's had them, some early JK. I know there's a ton of heat shield screwed to the bottom side, and that area does get warm, so it's more of a inquiry from me than anything.

Not that I saw.... Of course, I wasn't looking for one either....Part of me wants to take it back apart to check now 😂
Then I remember how tired and sore I am already.

Did the transmission service at 81k. Went really well. Wasn’t as challenging as I thought and pretty straightforward. New filter and Amsoil 100% Synthetic ATF. Drives really smooth. The old fluid was pretty clean, no metal chunks. Just the magnet sludge. It’s a crime how much a dealer charges for that.

Ordered front Rockblokz XL mud flaps. They arrived today. Funny, they included a package of Smartees too. Anyone else get them when they ordered?

Mines hardly as cool. I smacked the passenger side rear fender half off in Boulder last weekend.

First time doing it so I ordered the cheap amazon clip packs/trim tool and yanked it off to replace everything. To cool to look at a video, that was about 30 minutes of suck.

Now I get why I'll be upgrading to after market inner fenders.

Had these on my Tacoma. The short RB flaps, not the XL. The fronts departed while wheeling immediately afterward never to be found. The rears survived for the life of the truck. With nerf steps and mud flaps I'm assuming you plan on keeping her on level terrain?

For the most part yes but I have had her off road a couple of times but nothing extreme. If I ever decide to tackle something big I still have the rails that came with it that I could put back on to prevent damaging the nerf bars. That's also why I went with the RB because they are easily removable for off road.

I finally got to put some real Jeep wheels and tires on it today, instead of the Bridgestone "A/T" (sorta all terrain tires) that it came with. Got a nice take off set of Rubicon wheels and Wildpeak M/Ts from @Shibbyjeep yesterday. While I was at the shop I went ahead and did my oil change, and programmed the RFH for the sensors in the Rubicon wheels.

Nice! Will be posting a set off my Rubicon X on Monday once I can take some pics and make my little handwritten ransom note.

Quick update: Jeep dealership has been repairing replacing and repainting my JT…three doors under warrant, tailgate, hinges blah blah, called to check on progress, sorry we found more corrosion, they ordered a new hood as well, pretty much a full paint job in process for the last three weeks.
Got bored, so I built this during the “waiting period “…tubing bender (I’ve always wanted one) on a modified HF engine stand, HF 8 ton air/hydro ram, 2” and 11/2” dies. Set it up to do horizontal and vertical bending, and attached my tubing notcher on the underside of the rotating mount. Added retractable out riggers to all four corners for stability bending long pieces and to level everything up to keep the bending planes nice and true.
New first bender projects: JT new rear bumper 11/2” tubing and a 2” tubing front cow catcher on the stubby up front.

Okay so I didn't take a pic but I changed out my Tie rod bar and tie rods with the "Rock Jock Current Lync " and wow it actually is very heavily built and literally no wiggle from it at all now. Alignment on Monday . Dropping it off tomorrow night . Shop is 6 miles from the house . Wished I knew how to do an alignment but I made the bar 60.75" long center of knuckle to center of knuckle as per instructions. Never drove it though will do that tomorrow I will add a pic and edit this post .
