So far, changed the oil. Did front wheel bearings last week. Rotating the tires later today as well.

Only once in over 15 oil changes, last time, have I used a filter other than mopar. I used a Fram titanium last time when mopar wasn’t in stock at the parts store. When I removed the filter cap/housing, the filter wasn’t attached, but was still in the engine filter housing. I’ll never use Fram again in this engine. I did switch to Royal Purple from Valvoline today, and plan to stick with it. I’m staying with 0w20 with Chrysler certification though. 70,508 miles today.

Have had that happen before even with a MOPAR ones. The center cage is supposed to spin freely from the outer cage that holds the media. Sometimes they stick and when you spin the cap on with the filter held by friction fit, it loosens that friction fit to the cap. Really does not hurt anything but helps to check before install that the center cage does spin.

Yep. I wasn’t worried about it hurting anything. I just didn’t like it. They always spin for me on install. Including today.

Interested in how the fit is on those. I don’t want anything that I’ll hit the side of my leg on so I’m kind of hesitant on those.
I've looked at some of those before. Some are very narrow and others are wider but interfere with the lumbar wheel on the side of the seat. I've also seen where some limit the seat from moving forward. I'd like something in place of the nets but have given up for the time being. Hope to revisit this in the future.

Gave the interior a nice mid winter cleaning.

The floors take 2 minutes to vacuum and about 5 minutes to wipe down with some ceramic interior detailer.

I just ordered my Armorlite floors. Still the best mod I have ever done to any vehicle.

Clayton Overland + Diesel 2.5” lift installed over the weekend.

After deducting 1” for the TeraFlex 1” diesel spring spacer, the front gain was 4.25” at at the center of each front fender.

Gain at the center of the rear fender was 2.5 to 2.75” with about 50lbs of stuff in the bed and another 75lbs in the cab.

Before and after:

Alignment will be performed on Sat 1-18 and the wheels and tires will be on in about 2-3 weeks.

even with the stock tires, it feels substantially better on a ride in my opinion that wasn’t really flawed to begin with. My steering wheel is off to the right by about 2° and my traction control lights on. I’m not sure exactly why because I never disconnected the Tie-rod or the link that goes from the steering box to the passenger side attachment point.

i’ll do another fender to ground measurement adjusting for the height difference in the new wheels and tires at about 2000 miles.

I was checking under the hood today and holy crap this Mojave hood is way heavier than my JLU was. Anyone know why? I'm sure it's been answered before, but I'm too lazy to search.
