It was just one of those spots. Miscommunication with spotter and the rear got bound up. It’s all fixed and I wheeled today. Now I have chromoly rear shafts, which were on the preventive list anyway. The other one was fine, so is a trail spare. I was pretty lucky as it broke right next to the locker, and the ring, pinion, and locker were undamaged. It could have been worse.Welcome to St George.
I exclusively do my own work, but in this instance, I handed it to a completely class act at 23 Diesel and Offroad in Hurricane, UT. They found axles, got it in at 9pm after their last job, worked on it until after midnight, and I had it back just after 9am. They went above and beyond, and still charged me a reasonable daytime rate for the job. Anyone in the area should not think twice to go to them with their jeep. Mike was amazing.
