So I'm confused. You spend all that time eliminating the black with green to then turn around and eliminate green with black.

I’m confused too because he was A pillar and the only difference I see is on the B pillar.

From Friday - stock bumper back on, winch removed -

snow plow hardware removed,

snow plow wiring harnesses removed (all of them, plus all of the relay banks and lighting control box)

2" front receiver removed.........

aux switch terminal block, winch disconnect solenoid (with bracket I made for it and the plow's 200 amp fuse)

It's going to take a big box to unload all of the stuff stashed under and behind the rear seat - straps, snatch blocks, shackles and more....
Not where it will all fit into the new one since it has some of the space taken up with that speaker. Likely I'll take it out to free up space.

Monday the front springs come out and the stock springs go back in.

opinion - remove and keep these shocks and put the stock originals back? Or don't mess with it?

I would not mess with it. Not going on your Mojave and will not make a lick of difference on the trade in. This is where your time is worth something. Same with the springs.

You are making good time on the other stuff though.

Thats a lot of work SP, but in the end your Mojito will be worth it.

I would not mess with it. Not going on your Mojave and will not make a lick of difference on the trade in. This is where your time is worth something. Same with the springs.

You are making good time on the other stuff though.

The front springs will come out - they are Synergy 2" springs, the factory springs will go back. The Synergy springs are at least worth something and fit JL/JLU as well. (supposedly fit a fair lift on a Wrangler - and they raised the front of my JT quite a bit as well)

Front fender liners have to come loose to retrieve the rest of my plow wiring harness bits that go out to the turn signals, easier with the wheels off - and at the same time since the liners will be loose, taking back out the clear marker lights.

Air bags will stay - they are over 2 years old and I'm going to see how it goes if I'll need them on the Mojave when towing or not.

I'll have to relocate the shock reservoirs for the plow brackets to mount to the frame.
It will probably take much of the summer to get the snow plow stuff put back in place, winch installed, that sort of thing, especially with my dizzy/sickness getting up and down and working under things these days.

Washed it and noticed something. I crouched down to wash the front axle and suspension and the steering stabilizer wasn’t attached to the tie rod clamp. The bolt snapped. I didn’t have tools to remove it, and was close to home, so strapped it to the track bar to get home. It’s trashed. Oh well. There are more expensive parts that could break. I had no idea it was broken. That shows how important they are. I put 80 interstate miles on it today with tight turns. No problems whatsoever. It makes me want to look into why they’re even necessary.

I drove it at 65mph for 10 miles to get home and could barely tell the difference. It tempts me to put my drag link attenuator back on from steersmarts, and screw the stabilizer.

It's generally not. I've got snippets of conversations suspension and steering engineers were having about Jeep designs and such - and when all things are good, it's not needed. There's more than one member here who has driven without one.
