Friday I took the Gladiator to the dealer for a "free" oil change and tire rotation. I unmarried the Tazer on Thursday, good thing because they flashed the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with RSU 24-110 while I was there.

So yesterday I attached my OBDLinkMX+ and all my JSCAN settings were still there. Attached the TAZER and all live functions were still working. I have decided to only use the TAZER for live functions like kill3honk, start/stop immobilizer, Winch RPM control, and one or two others I can't think of right now.

Then I figured it was time to install the gorilla black lugnuts I've had sitting around for a few months since I ordered them. I always check for proper torque (130 ft/lbs) after any dealer removal of tires so it was a good time to get around to this job. I think they look a lot better than the OEM chrome ones. We will see how they hold up. Pics attached...

Full sun, full side view, no more chrome lugnuts

i found out I can control the idle speed with JSCAN. Yes, it's another 2 steps or so, you have to have your phone with you and launch JSCAN, but I've used it and it works slick - there are several RPM choices to choose from.

I saw that in looking at the jscan options. I did look at the choice, nice long list of RPMs to choose from. Thanks for the info, I'll play with it some more and see how it works. You can also enable memory seats with JSCAN - but sadly it does nothing since we supposedly don't have the seat module for that function. LOL, I turned it on just to see if it did anything. It did nothing, I didn't check to see if any codes got thrown.

I have the same lug nuts through this past year, and they hold up very well, plus look much better than the factory chrome.

Fixed my loose/broken/droopy passenger side fender. It still needs the fender liner installed. I’m leaving it out in case I need access when running my lights and winch. Both sides finally match. It’s been like three years. It used to annoy me every time I looked at it. A broken plastic support and several broken clips will do that to it. lol. I had buffed and sanded out the paint scratches already.

Still waiting on a few parts to put my bumper, winch, and lights on.

It doesn’t leak. That’s where my Model A is normally parked.

It took five years, but my factory chrome ones started separating and were a pain. I put black ones on. Probably would pay more if I bought them again though. My Amazon specials scratch really easily.

Redline hood struts are a must have on the Mojave.
Yeah, for sure. That hood is a heck of a lot heavier than any Jeep or other prop-rod hood vehicle I've ever owned
I bought just the struts cheaper than the whole kit since I already had all of the hardware. Saved quite a bit, actually.
They're great on our Rubicon and really liked them on the Overland - figured a must-have for Mojave so had the heavier struts here, waiting

Loving the redlines. I’ve been avoiding them for a long time. Does anyone know if they work, clearance wise, with a voswitch installed?

Checked fluids - the windshield washer tank was empty - they usually put some in that during prep. And the brake fluid - pulled the cap to find the brake fluid was clear up at the bottom of the filler neck on the reservoir.
Coolant is purple - as opposed to the pink/orange of my last two, but plenty full.

You may need to use a lower head bolt here - I had to use an oval head hex bolt on mine with the added height of the plexiglas.
I used "clay" to check clearance on mine.

I also liked the looks of the stainless bolts with those heads better, anyway - a cleaner look.

That’s easy if that’s all it is. You had a voswitch on the overland?

No, my home-made terminal block holder. I found the added thickness of the acrylic raised the stock bolt head enough to rub on the hood cylinder.
So I used those stainless bolts.
