Changed the aux battery AGAIN!
Did you go from the top or fender? I've heard fender is easier even with taking off the fender or liner but I haven't had to do that to mine yet. Dealer replaced it once under warranty already. Trying to decide what's best when the day comes I need to do it myself.

Come on now, you know you want to. 🤣

In all seriousness, as much as it's a trail rig on 42's. I drove it through downtown Nashville the other day to meet another forum member and sell some LCA skids from my old axle. I may just have the little 3.6 that could, but regeared to 5.38's and I see 8th gear at 80 on the highway.

She does amazing on the highway, on the trail, and in the city and boy does she turn the heads...

5.38's thats the lowest ratio I ever heard of.

I went through the fender well. You don't have to take the tire off I do. The well liner I only take the back half off and bend it forward. What takes the longest is taking the battery to get it swapped under warranty. All in about 30 mins.

Gotcha thanks. It seem that's the easiest way to do it so that's what I'll do when that time comes.

I do the very same thing . To replace those stupid snap rivets . I used clips and hex head fender screws 4 of em even too the ones out on the other side replaced with the same torque make it match .

That's a good idea. I had thought about just yanking the entire fender out of the way.

Jeep looks great, but I need more info on your off road Baja mini cooper! That thing is sweet.
And we cant ignore the grocery getter next to it. Let's here about the mini build!
I could be wrong, but I'd bet that's on a SxS chassis.
It's not mine, but it's insane...

It's on the stock chassis, that he has cut up and fabbed on a lot. He built a full custom front and rear suspension for it and he's K-swapping (Honda 2.4L) to make it stupid fast.

I want to hear about the springs did you compress or just drop it all real real low and stick em in ?
We just dropped the axles far enough to swap them in. No spring compressor needed.

I also want to know more about the bumpstop uppers .
Those are the MetalCloak DuroSpring replacements bumps. I got the full set.
