When I did it, the first time it got just above the high side of the range, and started pouring out. I let it cool and did it again. Lost I’d guess half a quart or so. It seems like the top end is where it starts to expand quickly. So I’ll start at the low end every time knowing that.IF it was at 130 when it was filled, the issue COULD be that it might be a tad bit low. But that's easily enough checked.
It's not like he did it at 140 or more. And the rate isn't going to be that much different in 5 or 10 degrees.
