IF it was at 130 when it was filled, the issue COULD be that it might be a tad bit low. But that's easily enough checked.
It's not like he did it at 140 or more. And the rate isn't going to be that much different in 5 or 10 degrees.

When I did it, the first time it got just above the high side of the range, and started pouring out. I let it cool and did it again. Lost I’d guess half a quart or so. It seems like the top end is where it starts to expand quickly. So I’ll start at the low end every time knowing that.

If I lived in more temperate climate possibly yeah I could see your point. But when its 15degrees outside and 3 inches of snow on the ground and I can lay in bed and hit the button yeah . I leave my keys in it . The traffic ( for road construction ) and the weather on the travel link I used repeatedly every single day. I also have the SOS button service . Why ? Cause one time I broke down in the middle of no where in a vehicle that didn't have it. I had to walk a mile waving my phone around trying to find signal to even dial 911 to get them to send someone to my aid. SOS is big for me cause many areas dont have Cell service in WV . Over by Greenbank ,WV there is a large area where NO SIGNAL is even allowed to be transmitted not even via microwave or cell etc. Which forces the cell service to mainly be situated or available in larger areas. And that SOS is a handy Dandy deal. There are many such spots like that in WV and thats exactly where I want to be with my Jeep when I get a chance . That 240 a year is well worth the peace of mind .

Anyone found a solution to keeping windshield washer fluid from getting all over your side windows and making it a mess? I tried some weather stripping this morning along the edge of the window in hopes it would deflect the fluid away, but it didn't work. Going to try it in a different spot tomorrow as it seems to spray up from down by the mirror arms.

On our road trip the bugs were pretty bad so we went through quite a bit of washer fluid. It didn't take long before you couldn't really make anything out looking through the side windows as there was so much fluid splattered and streaked across them.

Dont use it all except little tiny squirts
What I did was took a small piece of wire and stuck it in the squirter hole and slightly elongated the hole in an upward manner only at the top of the hole. So now when I hit the washer it squirts more straight at the windshield and not in a wide fan. This worked wonders.
I am not responsible if ypu screw yours up I was very careful .

I will admit this current jug of fluid is very oily which causes it to stay on the window and bubble up all over. Not sure what brand it is, it was whatever was available at the truck stop. I need to drain this fluid and flush the system with something better.

Here you can see the mileage since last oil change and the percentage of OLM. @Splenda. Oh and by the way if you know where Clarksburg is then thats only about 20miles north of where I live.

Our vehicles never looked like that. I'm sure I'll have to spray the frame eventually, but I was wondering about spraying the inside of the frame with some kind of lanolin-based product.

Maybe it's RainX or similar. It will bead up. I use a glass treatment to help make the bugs come off more easily when cleaning, but still have to use the washers quite a bit, and it does build up on the side windows. it's a real thing.

Apparently others haven't seen the side windows that bad............ I have, and then the sunlight glaring on it, or even at night the headlights of others glaring on that dirt. Makes it almost impossible to use the side mirrors. i have had to roll windows down to use the mirrors it's gotten so bad.

I'm at 3000 miles since mine was changed, and I show 60%.

My grandparents are gone now, but they lived in 3rd St in Morgantown then moved to Kingmont Rd. Most of my family have the last name Viglianco and live in Clarksburg.

I have the performance wipers and it does the same thing, it's an air flow issue. Transits do the same thing.
