The same thing I did to my 2022 - sealed up the tailgate (with one exception, I added another piece to the puzzle this time)
After the dusty trails in September and the rock roads, the whole Jeep, bed included, was covered inside and out with DUST. It was almost piled up by the tailgate.
So I finally sealed things up. These will even suck snow up into the truck bed around the tailgate in winter, so that's another reason.

I added this other seal to keep crud, rocks, sand and whatever, from falling down between the bed floor and tailgate when hauling dirty stuff or cleaning it out.

It stuck to mine well. Used mineral spirits to make sure it was extremely oil/dirt free.

I actually had to replace mine once (not because of damage or failure but because I was reworking the bed build out and wanted to start fresh) and the old one was a bear to remove…

It’ll hold.

Yes, with thorough cleaning of the bed liner first.

I'm really glad to hear that! Mine hasn't been on long, but it seems to be stuck well.

I cleaned the area of the bed where it would be stuck to good with soap and water first, and let it dry a couple of days, then rubbing alcohol to make sure no oils or such remained.
After it dried from that, I applied the shield.
Since it was already "cool" here - about 60 - I used a heat gun set on low to warm the parts that stick up a bit. It's staying great so far.

You know, I never thought about the bottom of the tailgate being where all the dust comes in, thought it was mainly the gap with the cover on top even with the weather strip. I do enough dusty trails it's a pain. Curious to know how much the side seals would help in addition to the bottom one.

I started with side seals only and it was still awful. When I gutted the first build of my bed, i painstakingly went through and plugged every hole in the bed. I then added the GapShield along with the side seals I already had for the gate and now I get virtually no dust intrusion. If you want to keep the dust out, it’s the way to go.

That's what I was thinking. It's easy enough to come back later and to do the sides if needed. (This reminds me I still need to clean the bed out.)

Thats good to know. I was going to do a BedRug at a much higher price. My sides are already sealed. This will be the perfect combo I think. Thanks for the replies.

I did both the side seals and bottom seal, and then added the gap piece.

Dust after driving to, and at, a 4x4 event -

I did the seal all the way around, sides and bottom of my 2022 and my 2025 but added the gap shield, too.

I went ahead and installed my dash cam/radar detector combo. I've already managed to get one speeding ticket in the JT, so hopefully this save's me some grief.

Bonus: I also found a mural out in the desert! Pretty neat!

Thoughts on the Wolfbox mirror so far?
Does the job, but it's too wide for the driver side visor.

Can't put the visor down properly, so if I had to do it again, I would look for an 8 inch wide mirror, or a different style.

It's a minor annoyance, not enough for me to spend the money to fix the problem though.

Good callout! I wouldn't have considered that. I need to buy one for my 16yr olds F150 and will have to measure the spacing. Thanks!

Since I added a Rydeen Tombo 360x dash camera a week or so back, I saw that company had some add-ons including turn cameras, and thought to myself, I bet you I could turn that into a trail camera. I'm waiting on the rear licence plate bracket to show tomorrow, but I can flip a 12v 3-way switch forward, for a front trail camera, or back for a rear trail camera or center for regular mirror camera. The camera sits nicely above the hood lock, and looks almost factory.

With all mounting brackets and switches installed, it's a very usable system. Each camera can be digitally aimed, so I can drop the view to see close up obstacles.

How big is the screen of that system? Does it interfere with the sun visors like the 12” WolfBox G900?

I'm really wanting a set-up like that (front trail type cam and back cam for our topper) so was looking at that company since your post the other day!

It's an 11" mirror, so it still hits the driver's sun visor, but is manageable. I have the direct mirror mount option, not the strap on method. I can get you more info if you are serious about the unit. Warning, it's not inexpensive.
