free alienshade installed! A cousin of mine sold his wrangler and had this left. It’s not a perfect fit, but pretty close.
I'm assuming only meant for those 5'6" or so? I have a Seat Slammer installed and that thing would still meet me at the eyebrow...

Added a magnetic shore power port and deleted the aux battery.

This is a MagCode plug and port with spring loaded cover. I had to order it from UK. It’s magnetically activated so when the plug is not in place the contacts from the battery are not live. It’s installed where there’s a slight radius so I sealed it with RTV

The plug is wired to an SAE cable. I’ve got an SAE adapter on order to plug into my NOCO Genius 10. I went with this maintainer/charger because it handles multiple chemistries and delivers 10A.

I went with the MagCode because inevitably I will forget that it’s plugged in and drive off. A recessed male 3 prong port attached to an extension cord is just asking to tear up the side of the truck when I forget to unplug it. The self ejecting ports like they use in the FD are too big and bulky. This works really nicely.

For the aux battery delete, enough ink has been spilled. I’ll just say this: there are multiple modes of failure for the batteries. I didn’t have a real issue with ESS other than it rarely activating except inevitably when I pull into my driveway. My batteries died with little warning and my dealership said that ESS related issues are the number one thing bringing Jeeps in for warranty work. They recommended I disable it, which I did via a Tazer. If the ESS is off, there’s no reason to keep the aux battery.

The process is simple and has been covered repeatedly:
  1. Pull fuse F42
  2. Disconnect the ground from the IBS.
In my case I left the wiring intact at the main battery since I use the stud and just disconnected the cables at the aux covering them with heat shrink wrap to isolate them. The Jeep appears stock.

My aux battery compartment had a lot of water in it. Nice.

Put on rugged ridge fender chop kit until my new set of rubicon flares come in. I trashed one side of flares scraping the parking lot poles and fender high stump. Luckily no damage to body just the flares. Mopar is slow on getting LED flares in. Back order! In the meantime…I tried these on my original factory flares for giggles. Instructions suck but You tube helps

My best friend has a white hard top for his Overlands, trying to talk him into offering a trade for a Soft top so he can enjoy the weather.

No promises, but if anyone's near Greenville SC and interesting, I can see what we could work out
