Would’ve used this around 7 times today?
If you’re serious, I obviously want and, emotionally need, pictures. Thursday was supposed to be a serious wheeling day, which is the reason for the timing of adding the rear winch. But life and health stuff got in the way. Need to reschedule soon.

So @Silverator I completely understand your situation and desire to get back to normal. I'm glad that you are improving and headed in the right direction. I'm sure you felt accomplished after washing your truck and believe me if anyone understands that feeling it's me.

Thanks for the encouraging words @JCappy. It's much appreciated. Will check out your detailing post!

They have a few pics. I'll save it for @mx5red to post.

Yes. Must see pictures that would require a rear winch more than once. I can’t wait to need it, but that’s me.

Being able to pull yourself out backwards is a plus if you go out alone. I was out alone in the hills by my house yesterday and avoided the deep gully crossings because they were full of mud and were a “maybe” to get through successfully because i didn’t want to get stuck and have to call recovery. If I had others with me I would have given it a try

Jeep Gladiator What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK] IMG_0446

Priced at ~$100 USD, I bought 'em for the driver side only to see if all the hype was true. Immediately noticed the positive change in seating position. Seat Jackers are worth their cost.

Waited to see if the wife noticed the difference when she drove the Gladiator. I didn't want to fork out another $100 if she didn't give a shit. Wife noticed the difference, and much preferred the seating position with Seat Jackers. ?

I did the same last summer. Did it for my wife. She loves the one on the passenger side. I couldn’t get used to mine. I sold the driver side to a forum member at a discount, but they still got a sticker. :)

Good on you for including the sticker. Arguably the most important part of any modification purchase. ?

No question. I love the stickers. I put them either on the co2 tank in the bed, or on the breaker panels in the garage.

We did the Rodriguez Truck Trail/Oriflamme Canyon loop yesterday, very nice trail but the optional rock garden (33.0305723, -116.5014750) on Rodriguez was Gladiator Hell. Wranglers did significantly better. We also ran it east to west as we missed the entrance, going west to east would’ve been easier/downhill and probably fewer winch spots.

Decent weather today and decided to change the transmission fluid and filter. From overnight sitting cold, got 5.5 quarts that came out. Followed the ZF guide sheet for the temperature level check and about 5.5 quarts went back in. Thought it was underfilled as when I did the same service on my 2020 Gladiator, 6.5 quarts came out.

Also did the transfer case fluid swap. Easy Peasy.

Since starting to wash my Gladiator on AUGUST 1st 2023 and having a ladder collapse which broke my heel, it's pretty much sat around - no mods, no real trips, and filthy dirty. It's been a long hard rehab (7 months out of a year), but today, I FINISHED washing her!!!! She's clean and pretty again, and I'm feeling better and getting around. I can walk again, but with some pain.

As soon as the weather warms up a bit, I'm going to do a full detail, and apply Meguiars Hybrid Paint Coating and keep her clean - Then I'm going to get her filthy dirty again... :)
I can relate...... my knee bent the rung of an aluminum extension ladder several years ago. Was installing a door opener in a tall garage, had ladder leaning against the trusses but the floor was a bit wet. I reached, took too much weight off the lower part of ladder. I had this sinking "uh-oh" feeling as I watched the trusses disappear above me and I rode the ladder to the concrete floor, my left knee hitting a rung hard, bending the ladder, busting my knee cap across horizontally. I literally passed out then woke enough to holler for a neighbor for 911. My wife got home about that time, freaked out.

Knee was bad enough, but ankle, heel, foot, or major leg bone...... ugh.
