Agreed. Its only as good as the data Jeep is willing to release publicly anyway. I just found it interesting how little my dealer was able to see as well. My order still shows an estimated ship date of 3/17 for their view. That was 4 months ago.
My dealer told me that he got emails any time there was a status change on things he'd sold - not so sure he didn't say the regional rep sent them to him but that would be above and beyond.
In any case, my sales guy's info was always more accurate, updates more frequent and better even than the Jeep chat thing which was never right on mine.
I didn't get the deep details like each and every single move from one level to another, but it wasn't bad, either. I quit looking at the sites and relied on my sales guy to update me.

Wait, today is 7/17/2023. I think the accuracy of the 6/5 date has already come and gone...
The ship date is probably the most inaccurate part of the whole sequence. Mine showed as shipped - but was likely still on the lot awaiting pickup by the shipper. Once it passes a certain point it's marked shipped. And of course shipped can also mean sent to a shipper or shipped to another building or lot or whatever.
My 2020 was very accurate - dealer told me when it shipped - a Sunday night, something like 11:30 pm or similar. He said they came by truck to their location. So I looked up all of the laws for OTR trucking, legal hours on the road and so on and calculated when I might expect it. Pretty darned close - it arrived before 7am Tuesday.

When my 2022 came in, dealer told me that on that same shipment was a Wrangler ordered in November 2021 (I ordered mine may 1st 2022) and a Ram truck ordered December of 2021. Made me feel pretty good about my wait. Those guys had been waiting well over half a year. I waited a touch over 2 months.

Anyway, back on "shipped" - be VERY careful with that as it's usually actually the frame ship date - when the build starts. So ignore "shipped" and look for the CODE, not the word shipped.
On both of mine, the "shipped" was not completed vehicle shipped, but when it started assembly.
The Jeep site gave me a ship date of June 23 - look at when mine went into build. Dealer agreed, shipped does not mean shipped until after it's completed. Shipped is frame as far as we figured.
So if you see something that says "shipped" on the Jeep status site - it's likely in build stage.
