Pretty much what I've tried to explain over the years - those who believe "it starts, they are ok" are ruining batteries. Or "12.4 is ok" - no, it's not, it's maybe 60% charged.Also, AGM batteries suffer damage if voltage stays in the low 12 volt range for extended periods.
Heat is the other big destroyer of batteries. When I lived in Phoenix my batteries never made it past 5 years with many dying at one year.
Heat is a total battery killer as people in TX and FL know - or yes, AZ!
