I like the ball peen hammer. If it breaks, smack that shlitz til it works!!!!
Yup! Had to use one to whack a Delco Remy starter motor to make it home from ChannelView, TX.

Build your own, visit Harbor Freight and compare.
I like to assemble my own tool kit with essential tools needed & other items for emergency securing.
I also assemble my own first aid kit & firefighting stuff.
Just one small fire extinguisher? I carry fire blankets also.
Who needs the 900 tiny band-aids & alcohol wipes?
I get cuts bigger than those tiny strips.
A jar of isopropyl alcohol is a better value.
Use it for sanitary reasons while dressing a wound, cleaning eye glasses or it doubles as fuel for warmth & cooking. Ever see a roll of Charmin soaked in alcohol & stuffed into an old coffee can?
Grab an emergency oxygen supply from Wal-Mart for less than $20.
Those come in handy @ any age or altitude.

I was gonna say I saw the tool kit at my local dealer's parts department, it looks like $150 of Harborfeight tools with jeep engraved on them in a fancy roll up

BTW the screwdrivers look like garbage

Interesting, all the normal online sites seem to say these are out of stock, so pricing might be moot?

Unless you are preparing to survive an extinction event we just can't be prepared for every
possibility, nor do many of us have the skills necessary, and then there's the added weight,
it's like always having another passenger or more. I believe more is less and tailor my 'kits'
to my activities. One advantage we do have these days is better communication, ie call for
assistance, cellphone, CB or GMRS, maybe even HAM radio. A good first aid kit and the
training to use it is a good investment for every outing, remember the old Boy Scout motto.
