Just FYI -- The Mojave wheels have less offset than the Sport or Rubicon wheels, and thus will 'poke out' a little more.
Gladiator Sport/Rubicon: +44mm
Gladiator Mojave: +36mm
More FYI, the Rubicon 392 7.5" wheels are also at +44.5mm offset.
But the other Mopar 392 Extreme Recon XR 8" has a different +12mm offset.

I know it’s an old thread but I came here for the back spacing information. According to doing online calculations the back spacing is 5.482” on a 7.5” wheel with a +44mm offset. I just ordered a 17x9 with a -38mm. I was curious for how much more my wheel will stick out.

A lot. Maybe about 3 inches or so per side.

Face of the new wheel will be about 4" further outwards.

3.23" more for the offset change plus 0.75" more for the width change.

That is kind of the look I am going for. My other 4 vehicles are set up pretty much the same way. I ordered 285/70-17 KO3 tires and Dirty Life DualTec DT-1 wheels. While I have a warranty I will have to keep it close to stock for a while. Although I have owned this thing for 2 months and it only has 83 miles on it. I had it running the other day turning it lock to lock looking at what kind of clearance I had. A buddy of mine has a Rubicon with stock tires wheels. He says the tires rub backing out of his driveway turning full lock right. So I looked at mine and I have probably close to 4” everywhere. Mine is a Rubicon as well. So I don’t know what he’s talking about. I did read on a different thread of people saying there is hardly any uptravel in the suspension and hear the front axle bottoming out. Maybe that’s what my buddy is hearing. I haven’t spent enough time crawling around mine yet to get acquainted with it yet. Thanks for the help.

Well, I got the new tire and wheel set up on. It looks as expected and no where near rubbing anywhere. I think though I want to get the beadlock rings. Not that I want nor need the beadlocks but the simulator is really thick and can see the wheel behind the simulator. In total it’s probably .75” out from the tire. Posting for future onlookers that are curious as I was. 285/70-17 on a 17x9 with 3.5” backspacing (-38mm offset)
