The only issue I can see with cooled seating in a Jeep is that it requires perforated leather. Not good in the rain.

If I still lived in Austin or Los Angeles I would go for it. Not so much here in the southeast.

hold up... katzkins can do chilled seats!? googling now...
Yes sir! But in order to get other interior bits in leather, you must order leather from the factory. So then you're pYing for leather twice.

yea i'm going to stick with factory leather and the cold weather group... maybe in the future I'll tinker with something like this:
https://www.leatherseats.com/shop/seat-heater-cooler-unit.html

or I'll replace the seats with katzkin custom leather and get that installed. I'll bet they can make the factory heated seats button continue to handle heating. Will just need to figure out cooling... maybe in the sPOD. But that's for future ralph to worry about...

Looks like you can get seats without the perforated leather:

Here's a video that shows installation. Looks like there's a pad that heats or cools with a fan underneath.

I thought Katzkin required perforated leather for cooling? Could've sworn I read that on their site (or somewhere).

edit: in the video they're perforated
