Hello! I've been doing some research on this page for a bit now and am looking for additional input/opinions. I currently have a 2016 Charger Scat Pack. I absolutely love this car but miss having a truck. I had a Ford Raptor before this which I really enjoyed as well and I probably should have kept it but hindsight is 20/20. Anyways, the Gladiator has caught my interest. The best of both worlds in having a Jeep/pickup is awesome!

I've been working with a salesman at a dealership and he recently found a Gladiator built almost exactly the same as what I built on the website.

Ultimately I'm curious as to whether or not I'm getting a good offer. The sticker price is $55,240 and he said they could do $47,995. I'll try to attach the window sticker. The one I built online shows a price just under that which includes the employee pricing incentive.

They're also offering (what I believe) a fair price for my Charger on trade-in.

Any input is welcome! TIA!

Thanks!

Also, is the only way to see the invoice cost to ask the dealer?

The price seems reasonable. The dealer seems willing to work with you. How long do you want to search for that lowest price, and how far are you willing to travel to get it? The important question is are you happy with the deal? It doesn't matter much what others think of it. You're the one paying for it and driving it. My only suggestion is to go test drive it and make sure there are no issues with it before signing the paperwork.

The order guide shows MSRP and Factory Wholesale Price FWP - should be in the ordering section of the forum. But that isn't what the dealer pays. There is holdback, inventory incentive, advertising incentives, and other money the dealer makes money on. Also, if your dealer is getting it from another dealer there is some cost involved.

I'd say what Mr._Bill said.

Price is good, are you going to be able to deal with the horsepower difference you have had? Did you like driving it, did you notice even pretty girls wave at you now?......jack

Traded my 17 Daytona 392 for a rubicon gladiator almost a month ago. Love the gladiator and I don’t regret it at all. Dealers seem to be reasonable on trade in values lately. There is a huge difference in horse power , but you get use to it after a few weeks. Big plus not having to get 93 octane anymore.

This is what I needed to hear lol! I've never had anything that had close to as much horsepower as my scat and love being able to get out in front of just about anything! But I miss having the capabilities of a truck and then combined with the fun parts of a Jeep just seems like an great time!

Thanks for the feedback!
