DRIVERS are speaking out as Jeep's parent company has confirmed the brand is pausing production of its two most popular cars.

Factory lines in Michigan and Ohio will go silent as Stellantis works through dealership inventory gluts on the Grand Cherokee and Wrangler, its two most iconic SUVs.

Supply is far higher than demand, not to mention they pumped up all their prices and no one wants to pay it.

Greedflation - where you significantly raise your profit margins while citing inflation as the sole source of the price increases. I expect TRD Pro and Trailhunter Tacomas to join the list of vehicles that are sitting for too long solely as a result of the mnfr going nuts on pricing.

Jeep shot themselves in the foot on Wranglers, and shifting most of their production to 4xes further exacerbated the issue. JLUR in 2020 started at 43. JLUR in 2024 is up to 53, but it's very difficult to find a gas JL on a dealership lot in most states, so you're looking at a JLUR4xe starting at 63 (or 60 after incentives).

It's just an insane increase, and i don't see things going much better for the gladiator.

The dopes want to turn Jeep into Land Rover and have been on that track since the days of Daimler (Benz)/Chrysler. They have done so in one respect, the Company is a complete disaster, just like JLR!
