Hey everyone,
I'm planning on getting the Clayton 2.5" overland plus lift kit and was wondering if running the HD rear coils on an empty bed would be a bad idea? has anyone ever done this before?
I was wondering about this because in a year or two ill be getting a pop up camper shell(300-400 pounds), but in the mean time will the HD coils suck with no additional rear weight? I don't really care if the truck has a rake(I prefer at least some rake), unless its going to be more rake than stock.
