What's the consensus on the revised/post-recall clutch?

Just got the clutch recall done- for me it was a world of difference. I've had the following manual transmission cars; two VW Jettas, 3 BMWs, a Chrysler Daytona, a YJ, an old Merc G-Wagen, and Merc C class, and now this Gladiator.

Gladiator was the worst, with the old clutch I would consistently stall out a couple times a week. The original clutch required a lot of force and went from disengaged to fully engaged way too easily. Biggest problems were at the mall, stalling while trying to park or to get out of a parking space.

The new clutch is a lot easier to depress, and engages very smoothly. Maybe not as smooth as the C-class, but def. in the VW range for overall clutch feel quality.

Side benefit, more power. Must be something in the programming but the truck has more pep to it for sure.

I hope it isn't easier/softer. This is the least feedback of any clutch I've ever used. It's probably why you stall so much. It's too soft and there isn't any real feel for when it engages.
I'll get my jeep next week. Hope to notice the improved "pep" you're talking about, I'll take anything extra.
