2020 Gladiator Mojave
Strange thing happened this morning. As I was leaving I noticed my backup cam was displaying a blue screen so I pulled over and turned off the car thinking it was a weird glitch. When I restarted and turned on the backup cam it said service not available.... I turned off the truck and it started making this crackling sound in the dash. No smell like shorting or burning. It was a warm day so I had the A/C on.
After a couple start stop cycles I heard the A/C lovers adjust and the sound stopped and the cam came back to normal. Does it sound like it was a weird HVAC glitch or Electrical shorting?
The only thing changed recently is that my drivers visor broke and I installed those retaining brackets to fix it the night before. The screws were a little long??? Oh and over a year ago I lost a dashcam chip down the front window vent ;-)
