Wheel Backspacing

I've been doing my research on exactly what kind of wheel and tire set up I want to do. I really like the wheels from Rocktrix and you can't beat the price. Wanted to to go with a slightly skinnier tire and don't want a whole lot of wheel poke. Planning on going with a 35 x 11.5 tire but can't decide between the 5.5" backspacing (+12 offset) or the 4.5" backspacing (-12 offset).

If anyone can post some pictures for refrence that would be awesome.

4.5 will be 2+ inches wider each side
5.5 will be 1+ inch
Also depends on 8.5 or 9 inch wide wheels

They would be 9" wide

Here is a 35x11.50 on 8.5" with 4.5" backspace.. 1 tread outside the fender..

I am running LT315/70R17 (35x12.5) BF Goodrich K02 on
Mopar Wheel 17" x 8" Rubicon Extreme Recons, , Backspacing of 4.4" (+12mm offset) which gave me almost 2" of poke. I added the Mopar fender extensions which equaled the poke.

I’m running 17 x 8.5” Method wheels with +25 offset - with the stock 33’s on 2024 Mojave.

I live in Pennsylvania, so I can’t have any poke. My setup needs to pass yearly inspection.
