The 2021's should all have the new box. I believe some of the latest production 2020's might have the new box, but most will not.

The change took place on 8-14-20 as early am jeeps have the original and later pm builds have the new.

Can I tell the build date by the vin? I am buying out of state since it's the only place I could still find a Gator Rubicon with the options I want. I can't see the door sticker until delivery of course.

Why wont they show you the door sticker with build date and HOUR?
What if you get the date from vin and it is 08/14/2020?
I would insist on seeing that sticker on a built truck.

I'm buying the truck either way. I haven't asked them to send me a picture of the sticker. Will do that now that I know it's not in the VIN. But like I said, I'm buying it either way, but would prefer not to have the old steering box of course.
