They do a great job of getting you through in a relatively quick manner. I did it in 2022 (if I recall) and they (JJUSA) had certain optional lines blocked off to keep everyone moving through the trail.

I was in the advanced wheeling group (3 groups that year) and we were at the Springs mid-afternoon.

After doing a half-dozen Jeep Jamborees, we signed up for our first Rubicon July 2025. Am told Rubicon over the years has gotten a bit more difficult (steeper in places) due to all the traffic it gets. Gladys is my daily driver so yes i'm nervous but will feel great once we complete the trail, though my hunch is Gladys won't look quite the same afterward.

Paragon was the first place I ever wheeled. Went there with a fresh complete rebuild of my CJ7. Spun the stock rear axleshaft and had to do the 3&1/2 hr drive home in front wheel drive. lol The closed shortly after that trip. Then I frequented Rausch for several years.
Did a Wounded Warriors benefit trip at Crozet, VA in 2009. It was a private club that opened up to the public several times a year for special events. I heard/ read somewhere several years ago they were closed now.

We used to go to Frazier park in California, back in the 70’s. I moved cross country in ‘80, so I’m not sure it’s still even open. We used to love camping out there, and panning/dredging in the creek that ran through it for gold and gems.
We used to go there to haven't been there since I went in the army in 1973 miss it.

I definitely miss Tellico, I modded my XJ for there.
