I live very close to Windrock. Was considering doing the BOH trails there. But after seeing you tube videos of jeepers damaging the the sides of their vehicles in those deep ruts made me decide not to go there. I have done trails in Moab, etc etc... didn't have to deal with crazy deep ruts. I would never go to Windrock unless it was very dry.. I hate mud... and trust me , over the years I have played in the mud.

Windrock has so many trails and mile and miles of "gravel" roads. You can ride all day on the gravel roads and some of them have rock and off camber spots. Just because you have mud on some of the trail type trails, doesn't mean you can't have a fairly mud free day just running the gravel roads. Go up to the windmills, up to the overlook on the ridge. Some beautiful sights and not needing to get into the mud.

I plan on going to Windrock when I have the time and would like to do some of the BOH trails just to say I did them. I have not wheeled the Gladiator much but was surprised at its ease of tackling the trail I have done compared to other vehicles I have owned in the past. I am sure that I could get two of them but I an not so sure about Trail 16
Well as I said I would I went... literally just getting home went with a a large group but over all I was impressed I did trail 27,26, and 51 with gravel trails connecting. I attached some pictures from Panther Rock trail 51. On trail 27 I bottomed out on the rear differential a couple of times and in the ruts that are too deep to do anything but ride them out I clipped the driver side tail light and I popped out and was pretty easy to get back in. It took all day with the large group to get it done and the trails are not for the faint of heart I was almost the smallest jeep there (stock baeically) and the bigger guys had trouble there was a broken track bar on one and a broken transfer case on another both JLUs on 38s and 40s.. and a couple other issues the other stock vehicle a JL hit the passenger side door on a tree stump and dented pretty good... I would say yes those 2 are doable if you are patient and drive confidently once you go you have to commit

@Warren H thanks for the pics and you opinion. Hopefully I can get a weekend off of work when I have a chance to go try out Windrock.

Was out there with the club this weekend, we had 3 different groups running, one for each badge trail this time.
I rode with the group that did Trail 26, we had 16 Jeeps in our line originally everything from mostly stock to heavily built. Had 3 other gladiators with my group, one gladiator went with the Trail 16 group. He's on 37's and I think a leveling kit only. It's been pretty dry lately so that may have saved him but he had no trail damage to report. A JLU from that group lost a side mirror, but so did a JT from Trail 26, it happens.
Fun video of me not being as cool as @JTenn when exiting Trail 26. -

I was an idiot had my hand resting on the gear selector the first two runs at it and slammed it into neutral. Too many years of running a manual, it's my normal hand rest. Last time I made myself put both hands on the wheel.

Oh man yeah, that's a nasty hump to get over!! I literally cut my wheels hard passenger and walked the inside wall of that bank. I went full send so the momentum carried me through. Great video, thanks for sharing.

Anyone been more recently know the trail conditions? There seems to be a good amount of contradiction on the web as to which BOH trails are doable stock (other than 16 being the hardest). As expected, weather and time can change a trail.

Will be there in a couple weeks, likely Tues 9/10. But going solo, I'll have to be choosy as to what I'll get into. So maybe just #26, and any other non-BOH trail.

Stock Mojave, no winch, only exterior upgrade are Rock Hard 4x4 angle-down rock sliders.

Not apples to apples but I did FINS & THINGS + Hells Revenge\Hells Gate in Moab with running BFG K02's. Choosing a good line and having a spotter are a big plus.
