Due east of Winter Park CO. Around 12,000ft. Elevation, above the tree line. The snow is only gone for a few weeks in the summer up here. It is beautiful! The Gladiator breathed better than I did at that altitude.

I didn't see any elk, but my friend goes hunting in the area north of Grand Lake. He got one last year. It is beautiful when you get on top of the clouds!

The pass pictured is Rollins and Moffat roads. The trail follows part of an old railroad tracks, with bridges and tunnels. Quite a few alpine lakes along the way. Very scenic and not difficult.

Went to Dirt Nasty offroad park in Mooreshead Kentucky the day after Christmas. Nice long hike there to pick up a smoking deal on a bed rack. Made a day out of it and stopped there. 14 hours of seat time in one day.

Nice photos. How did the Gladiator handle the snow? I noticed breaking on ice was a lot better when I put it in 4H.

The gladiator has been fine in the snow I’ve only put in 4high a few times on the road. Now the snow while offroading not do much. But I’ll lay blame to the Kentucky clay and snow at the same time. It packed which made decending hills terrifying I slid a good 50ft a few times.

Got back last night late after a week in Yellowstone. Amazing trip. One bison really didn’t like my Jeep. It caught up to us from behind and cut us off. It stood there blocking us for 10-15 minutes. Very cool. And the sunrider came in handy for a black bear within 10 feet of us. Smaller than the grizzlies we saw, but pretty big for a black bear.

Took mine down a two lane dirt road at dusk. Windows down, crickets chirping, dust flying and the scent of a warm breeze through the pine trees. It was just about perfect.

Drove the Gladiator from Northern California to Southern California (Big Bear) during Thanksgiving, spending time with family. While there, I checked my OnX Offroad app for some nearby trails and hit Broom Flats. Fairly easy for the Gladiator but there were some beautiful views. It was a 6 mile trail one way and it took a couple of hours for the round-trip.

Those are some great pics. I got a deal on some 37's on RockTrix wheels with about 5k miles on them so off I went to ruin them with RockRash on the John Bull Trail in Big Bear Saturday morning.
