Where to get Cam and Lifter kit

Im leaning towards the idea that I'm going to have to get cam lifters and rockers.

Where is the go to place to order them?

Admit in advance I know NOTHING about this.

But wouldn't logic dictate that, if you are currently running "Brand X" parts and now must replace them because they are prematurely failing, you should probably avoid "Brand X" for your next parts?

Or are you saying, they are ALL bad, and Mopar is the lessor of the evils?

Normally your logic would be sound but it is complicated when it comes to Pentastar cam and lifter issues. It has never been resolved if it is a design issue, oiling issue , material defect, assembly or a combination of some sort.

Almost all the aftermarket kits are Chinese made with suspect quality. Most who have used these parts usually find themselves doing it again sooner than expected.

So too some degree, using MOPAR parts is a lessor evil until an aftermarket alternative shows itself to be better.

Apparently the Gen1 motors have quality after market kits, but our motors don’t…the stuff on Amazon is not trustworthy.
