Where would you put your trailer brake controller?

possible,.We had a long ,long down hill in a Tahoe towing our Whaler with surge brakes fishtailing across two lanes, I realized it was swaying back and forth but was staying sort of straight but if I hit the brakes at the wrong instant we would be done, tractor trailer followed us all the way down the hill going across the lanes to keep other cars back.

Why not use engine braking?

Foot was not on the gas, I could not take my hands off the wheel and the swaying was across two lanes on a very long down hill, just holding the wheel straight the sway stay almost controllable, it was a long ride down, still get upset thinking about it and I was totally soaked in sweat.
I learned a lot that day and am always amazed when I see a camper going by at 75 plus on the highway. Things happen quick when they happen. The other 7 or 8 to the St. Lawrence seaway, had been uneventful until that long downhill.that Tahoe had towed the Whaler all over, but what I learned that day was I was stupid, and I am a quick learner……Jack

Like a previous member said, go with the redarc right next to the 12v.
You have to trim away a small amount of thick support material in the back but it looks perfect in this spot and quick access.
I used a tungsten carbide end mill for the dremel and it worked perfect.
