I have one of these on my wifes lexus and its great:

Every vehicle will be different, but it took me no longer than 30 minutes to get it installed and working in her car. There is a 10min video on the Jeep install on the above page. You are limited by the factory key fob range, which is the best from any car Ive ever had, so you should be good there.

EDIT: Just watched the video. Looks like you have to send the module to them for a final programming. No big deal, but worth mentioning.

I installed the Kleinn RS-JL2. Easy install and has worked every time. Limited by the distance of the Jeep Remote.

Compustar is very popular around here for aftermarket installs. You can speak with your local audio shop, as they tend to install remote starts. It all depends on what you want it to do and what you want in your pocket. The following information is off the top of my head and may be a little dated, as its been some time since I have looked into this. As a base, I believe they offer a similar install to the 12volt kit, so you use your factory fob and stab the lock button some number of times to start the jeep. Next option would be a one way fob; one version is just a button for remote start, another has lock/unlock/remote start buttons. Then they offer a two way option that reports back to your fob that the jeep has started and is running. Lastly, I know they offer a paid service for your phone, so you have an app to remote start/lock/unlock the jeep.

It depends on what you want and how much you want to spend.
