Who has removed the panel behind the back seats?

I removed mine. There's a bunch of modules behind it, and I broke several clips getting it off. I may put it back in unless I decide to build a sub box to replace it. It has been a while ago, So I do not quite remember how it came off exactly.

It was a PITA, gotta take the seats out, and I don't think there is a way to get it out without breaking clips. I removed the factory subwoofer, cut the plastic, and fit a Punch P3 12 behind the passenger side rear seat. It just barely fit, actually had to cut the middle seatbelt assembly out of the seat to make it work.

Thanks! My seats and carpets are out. Getting ready to put in Kilmat sound deadener and wanted to do the whole tub.

these will be providing improved bump and mouted under my home made seat delete. Trying to maximize pooch room.

Yup… the metal retainers tore several tabs off the panel when i pulled it…. Also ripped both tabs off the overhead light in the panel over the sound bar. Seriously flawed design. So now I get to build a back wall along with my raised flat floor.

i would interested in your experience after you install the sound deadener. I saw a couple videos that showed almost no difference in adding it (sound level) for all the time spent to add it. Provide some decibel readings before and after.
