The 2023 Gladiator that I purchased in October came with the Factory Hardtop headliner. I'd like to reduce the noise by putting sound deadening under it.
Has anyone attempted to remove the factory hardtop headliner? If so, how difficult was it and what should I look out for?

I was also thinking about buying the CoverKing topliner, but looking at the factory headliner over the back seat, it seems like kind of a waste of money, especially if I can remove and reinstall the existing one. Does anyone know if CoverKing sells just the headliner over the two front seats?

Thanks,

Tom

Cover King is a complete kit, no sections.

The plus with CK is it covers all the exposed white on the inside of the top.

It's just Velcro holding mine on and the South TX heat has loosened the glue so the heavier rear panel is falling but ... it hits the frame around the rear window so it never falls. Give it a pull and it comes right off.

I purchased the vehicle used at the end of the 2023 summer and never took the top(s) off but from experience I can tell you it has to be much easier to do with the rear section off. It can be removed/installed while the top is on but it's just a PITA.

Removed my OEM to put in the Coverking. Mine was merely velcroed onto the fiberglass so it was easy to pull out. I need to get around to selling it since it has taken up residence in a spare bedroom. The Coverking is way nicer, covers all the white fiberglass and allows for installation of a lot of sound deadening.
