Thanks for all the help. I feel hotheads with sound strips is best choice for my need case. The cover king while looks nice, but I have no interest in that installation. If cover king could create a better installation process I might consider it but hard pass for me. My hat is off to all who did that installation on there own.

@sts90 when installing Hotheads, I did not sand the panels. I cleaned them good then wiped with an alcohol prep. Also, I did not fully remove the rear section. I left the rear bolts in a few turns and lifted the front of the section then placed 2x4’s as spacers between the roof panel and the bar. Gave me enough room.
Make sure not to put the deadening material over your XM antenna.
Get the corner pieces too.

Where is the XM antenna located?

I don’t remember exactly. On the roll bar in the middle. HotHeads tells you in the instructions where it is and to not put sound deadener there.

I have had the Hotheads headliner for over a year now and it works great for keeping the cabin cool in the summer and hot in the winter. Also, a noticeable difference in outside noise inside the cabin. Stereo sounds much better as well. Looks great too, but I guess I am one of the few that actually likes the look of the white fiberglass.

I have the coverking on my JLUR and I love the way it looks. My last Wrangler had the mopar headliner kit and honestly, I don't think any of them help with outside noise. That being said, I think the coverking helps the interior sound much less boomy/echo-ey and probably has a mild insulation advantage. But on looks alone, I don't think the Wrangler looks complete without it.

Have you sold this? I would be interested.
Not yet. I’ll likely post it up as soon as I can get weather and work to cooperate and allow me to complete things.
