After seeing a lot of 4WD videos showing jumping, submarining (is that a word?), and other daredevil antics, I would never, ever buy a used 4WD anything.....

Purchased a used Gobi Mojave with every option available except cold weather pkg & engine block heater. The sticker price was $62k+. 4700 miles on it. Paid $49k. Couldn't pass up basically 22% off of sticker price. Only had to drive 3 hours to get it.

On my way home this morning I seen at a used car dealership that has 6 plus Wranglers for sale, bon Rubicon(s) average listing $39 k (I understand not a JT) but for the
Wranglers.

Our experience buying used has across the board been a good one.
We just research the vehicles issues currently showing up & make a choice to continue or to look at another type of vehicle.
Saving money is important but not buying into some real head aches may be more beneficial.

Just keep in mind, there are no perfect vehicles.

Today I bought a used 2020 Black JT Sport S, Max Tow, that was loaded with options (7" Screen, Alpine Premium Audio, Aux Switches, Slush Mats, Hard Top, Cold Weather Group, Remote Start, Convenience Group, Cargo Mgmt. Group w/ Trail Rail, Spray-in Bedliner, etc. Basically everything but leather seats. ) The dealer even put brand new 80th anniversary wheels and tires on it!

30,000 miles for only......$34,500 + $199 doc fee. No other dealer BS fees. I thought this was a great deal as I had been looking for a Max Tow for sometime. The MSRP was originally $47,960. On top of that, they gave me a fantastic price on my trade, even paid well above KBB value.

Let the modding begin!

I tried TrueCar and AutoTrader. Found one dealer (Lindsay in Manassas, VA) with 13 (!) used Gladiators, all from rental/commercial use (based on quick scan of the Carfax they include): https://www.lindsaychryslerdodgejee...d.html?Make=Jeep&Model=Gladiator&st=Price+asc. Are they 'hoarding' all used Gladiators that are available for sale at commercial auctions?
