He would be ticketed here for not strapping every wheel.
You have to strap the wheels?

I strap the axles or on IFS - the lower control arms.

Yes, here they use a 1 piece double strap set-up that is shaped like an X with 2 tails and it goes around the wheel, then the tails are ratcheted tight to the trailer. Each wheel is supposed to be strapped.
Sorry, no pics, there isn’t a loaded vehicle near me.

South Florida is full of overpaid yuppies and trust fund babies...And Covid has made it worse. Everyone with money is moving down here. Real estate is crazy right now. You've got people paying 20-30% over asking
Lol sounds like Colorado for the last 10. We’ve got plenty of Californians you can have?

Glad I don't have to do that.
I use axle straps that have protective sleeves on them that prevents them from getting cut on anything, toss them around the axle tubes and on the front around the lower control arms.
Been hauling things like tractors and cars since about 1982 or so - nothing has ever so much as shifted on the trailer. Where I put it is where it is when I get there. If the straps are crossed it's even better but if you run them at an angle like I do (never run them straight back or straight forward) the car isn't going to move to the side on the trailer. And I ratchet them until I see the tires squat a bit and I can't get to the next ratchet stop.
One thing one should not ever do - never strap by the body or frame. Always use the unsprung parts (or tires in Canada, I guess) I've seen where someone hits a big bump, the car jounces and the straps come loose. Strap unsprung parts only.

Seems like when the 6x6 craze cranked up most of these ended up on Kuwait or Saudi Arabia.
