EU regs don't allow door removal? It's June , any stories/pictures of your May trip?

I think the regulations are differing across the EU.

In Germany there is a paragraph which says driving without doors is forbidden.
But there are exceptions for older cars and 4x4s where you have to make sure that you can't fall out of the car. Mirror(s) are also mandatory. Because it's no clearly defined it can cause discussions with the police.

Regarding my trip in May, I was too lazy to put something together up to now. But maybe I can pull myself together and write a short story in the trip report section the next days.

I puy my soft top on for the summer and it's always back but for me to take the doors off is a pain because they have to go back on every night. I don't park in the garage and in my neighborhood there are @ssh°les that go around almost nightly checking for unlocked vehicles to rummage through your shit. I hate subdivision living.

110 volts wired with an open ground to the rig will put an attitude change in your rummaging a hole subdivision buddies…just make sure there’s no water on the ground around the jeep, so you don’t have to identify the body the next morning.

I love Jeeps and I think driving without doors on is cool and all, but currently living in california means that most drivers on the road are severely lacking brain cells or maybe just the education system failed them, thus I’d rather not be on the direct receiving end of their souped up(shit box) Honda Accord going 60 in a 35 zone.

I've got the CJ7 for driving sans top. The Gladiator only gets driven when I have the grandkids with me or thunderstorms are rolling through.
Compared to the CJ, taking the top and doors off the gladiator is major surgery, so the CJ gets the nod when I wanna go nekked

Getting naked is getting closer to being legal in PA. SB298 was passed in the Senate in March and the House on 7/3/24 so we just need the Governor’s John Hancock to be doorless legally.
