Thanks, I'll check on that. There's definitely one in the soundbar though because I can make it go away by putting pressure on it.
I had a rattle in my soundbar that went away as I added presssure over the driver side speaker cover. It ended up being a loose screw that actually held the speaker in place. It was much more pronounced when the music was loud. About drove me insane until I sorted it out.

I'm in South Florida and have zero issues staying cool with the AC on, and I don't need to keep it above half or so while driving around. Personally I've never understood the need for these, though I'm not hating, I'm glad they are being made. Also, great install and it looks great.
Hell we are cooking here in Texas and I have a soft top and the A/C keeps it fine in my truck
I didn't have any trouble with AC keeping up either, however, I am in the Northeast lol. In the winter, it does get kind of chilly on long drives so I figured this should help keep the warmth in better.

Overall I just wanted to give the interior a more finished look, which this project definitely achieved.

This looks good, but I thought about a different color (my Rubicon is Sting Gray). Ultimately, I installed the Hot Head Headliner (in gray) but left the exposed fiberglass white. At the time, we were living in Southern Nevada, and triple digit temps and black can be a tough combination.
The interior color shouldn't make any difference in regards to heat.

I tried tightening these but they were tight. I think it could be the panel around the dome light.

Wow, that looks great. I made my own headliners for less than $100 in materials and added the sound assassin strips. Wish I had thought to paint it black while I was at it.
Hello, IFISH... Do you have any info that you are willing to share, re making the "headliners for less than $100"? Thanks

Yep that is what is wrong with the market today. Everyone thinks that its ok for manufacturers and dealerships to just charge extra for everything when many things should be standard on current vehicles with the prices being charged. I don't know how many times I heard "Its the Jeep way" when I got my JT and just kept thinking well it is if everyone just lets it go at that. Ah you want LED lights gotta pay premium, Ah you want back up sensors well ya gotta pay a premium for that. Oh you want a steel bumper well that is upcharge as well, Ah you want your hard top panels painted better well that is another upcharge (LOL). Its the Jeep way
If that bothers you, which I understand, do NOT go see the Porsche, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, or Bentley dealers. Talk about option add ons

You can find several youtube videos searching "jeep gladiator headliner diy." It's basically half inch insulation/foam board, headliner material from Hobby Lobby, spray adhesive, and velcro to attach it. I used thin poplar board as a backing to reinforce it a bit since the foam board is fairly soft. Hope this helps.

Actually, it makes more difference than most people realize. The front “Freedom” panels on a JT are fiberglass, without much insulation or heat barrier. Get in one that has been parked in the sun on a 114°F day in Southern Nevada, and the heat transfer is very noticeable. The headliners do not cover all of the fiberglass, only the recessed areas. Darker colors do allow greater IR heat transfer under these conditions. Is it significant? That’s a decision best left to the person and the individual vehicle. A difference of 10°F or more can be noticed. I’ve studied / worked with enough thermodynamics to know this.

Roof could of at least been painted a matte dark gray or something to match roll bar padding . Looks like they stuck a boat on for a roof from the inside . It just looked unfinished like something that was forgotten at the factory.
