Hi, I'm a new member and picked up my shiny new Gladi on September 3! I love it so far, but one question for all you Willys owners.

My truck had the front slush mats, but not the rear one - should it have been included? Thanks!

Yeah, both front and rear slush mats should be there.

That is one clean good looking JT. What size spacers did you use? Looks good.

Thank you, I went with 1.25”. Truck has rubicon suspension with Mopar control arms, skyjacker spacers and skyjacker track bars. JKS front disconnects and synergy rear sway bar drop brackets. Budget build this go around.

We just picked ours up on August 19th had 15000 miles was looking for a new one but when I saw this one with the price and all the extra equipment, I made an exception. Hands down better than our old JKU. Love the Willys package on this one, has the Alpine system, LED upgrade and proximity keyless entry. Only thing missing now is a re-gear, they’re here just not yet installed.

Some updated pics of mine. Tons of stuff done since I got it. I absolutely love this truck, I still miss my rubicon a bit but this truck is definitely sweet.

-Rubicon take off suspension with Teraflex leveling kit.
-Rubicon metal skid plate
-Red Rock bed sliders
-Added second tow hook
- LED Tail lights, morimoto LED DRLs, Oracle oculus headlights and fog lights
- tazer mini
- Linex bed liner
- Katzkins leather with heated seats

did the install on everything myself, including the katzkins.

Future plans
-upgrade the 5” radio
- aux switches
- Mopar steel front and rear bumpers
- headliner

How difficult was putting on the Katzskins?? Was looking at doing this to mine. Also how long did it take? Nice JT!

We got ours 2 weeks ago from Steve White in Hickory and loving every minute of it. It replaces my 12 Ram Outdoorsman that was my DD. Kind of miss the Hemi, but all is well. Added Rough Country hard tonneau cover, stickers and other accessories just to make it mine. Installing a Rock Hard mid width bumper tomorrow so we can pull it behind our motorhome. Another box checked for retirement in s few years.

Commanchee. Is that a 33 inch tire on yours with the stock wheel? Do you have any more pics on your tires and wheels with the spacers? Looks awesome.

How difficult was putting on the Katzskins?? Was looking at doing this to mine. Also how long did it take? Nice JT!

The katzkins weren’t bad at all. First seat was a bit of a learning curve. Just had to get used to the hog ring tool and getting everything nice and tight. It took me 2 days just taking my time and working on it a couple hours at a time. I also added seat heaters. Some people use zip ties in place of hog rings but I wanted the hog rings for longevity. I used a razor to cut the old covers off.

Thank you! I will get some more tomorrow. Yes they are falken wildpeaks off a 2022 rubicon (33s). I thought about 35s but didn’t want to lose 8th gear. I had 37s on my rubicon and it was unpleasant to drive didn’t want to run in to that again with this truck.

If I don’t get back in to another rubicon, I will do the metal cloak 3.5” game changer with 4.88s and 35s

I run 35” x 12.5” x 17” Kumho MT71 on Dirty Life DT1s and I haven’t lost 8th. Stock 3.73

Thanks I’ve put on covers before but these are a little more detailed, I think I can handle it though, just have to remember to be patient. I like your color choice.

Here’s a few after installing Rock Hard mid width bumper. It’s 100 lbs heavier than stock plastic bumper, but didn’t squat front any. We’ll see what it does after winch is installed. I specifically chose Rock Hard since it’s rated to attach tow bar to go behind our coach

Hi. My first anything other than a Chevy and it’s a Jeep Gladiator! 2 days old! Been a Chevrolet owner 30+ years. I actually found it in a manual transmission. That’s what makes it fun. Now I’m trying figure what I want to add to it.
