As the title suggests, where is a good place to tap into power for when the high beams are turned ON?

This would only be used to operate a single relay.

Asking because I know nothing of these new fancy CAN bus systems.... But have read elsewhere that they are very sensitive to voltage

Also curious for a good wire tap for reverse lights

The system monitors draw based on the type of lights it's set for. If it goes too high or low, it cuts off power or reports an error.

I would start at the fuse box. You will need to trace out a high beam wire to feed the relay trigger. I used a Curt harness to tap into the tow wiring behind the bumper for the additional backup lights.

Happen to know if there is a high beam specific and only relay/fuse in the PDB?

I do not. The factory LED lights are so good that I don't have any issues. In fact, I rarely use the high beams, they create too much glare off the larger road signs. Part of that may be from the RSI cap and items in the back. I have a stock Overland.
