I assume that the fog lights shut off when the high beams turn on? (I ordered Mojave is not here yet)

Is there a way to program them with a tazer or ??? to stay on with the high beams?

Or could I run one of the aux switches to them?

MORE LIGHT MORE BETTER! ?

Yes, you can do it with a tazer, but it's illegal to run fogs with high beams. By default, nothing will allow it, because laws. It's always aftermarket.

How much is your Jeep going to cost?
If you get the aux switches, aux lights are so easy.
Spend a few hundred more and light it up.?
I put amber fogs on the bumper and white ditch lights on the A pillar.
Had to justify having those 4 factory aux switches somehow.?

One of the problems with running fog lights with high beams is it concentrates a lot of light right in front of the vehicle. This makes it harder to see objects in the distance that the high beams are meant to show.

It actually could be legal it depends on if the jeep LEDs use a second bulb for highs or not. The legality is that you can usually only have 4 bulbs on.

I did it with my Jscan, but after a few months changed it back. It really didn't make a huge difference, and I wanted to pass inspection.

This. It’s not so much a legality issue but actually being able to see properly
Your high beams are meant to see further down the road, not close like your low beams and fogs. Having your fogs on will make your pupil constrict, reducing the amount of light in and preventing you to see further down the road

Thanks for all the info guys! Lots of great points that I didn't consider or realize. Sounds like stock fogs with additional lighting is the way to go.

Thanks again! ?

My son had added a ton of little wihite dot lights on the front of his truck. He called them chicken lights. He got stopped becuse you can only have 4 (I beleive) white lights facing forward. This is on Tx.

JSCAN.

I wonder how many threads there are on this and how many answers each has gotten?

Besides the OP hasn't been on in 6 or 7 weeks and likely doesn't care in over a year's time.

Yes, another ZOMBIE LIVES! The night of the living dead thread!
