Wiring Up Vision X Rocklights direct to Jeep AUX 1? no power ?

I know, I meant I need to wire the module that I cut out back in. Then check.

But I still don't understand why it can't just run direct.

If I were trouble shooting this I would go in the following stages:

1) turn on aux 1

2a) if there is no power at the aux1 wire, check the fuses

2b) if there is power at the aux1 wire, try to make a jumper directly to the lights from battery and verify that the lights themselves do work

Thanks! I bought a meter to check the AUX power, should be here in a couple of days.

The lights do work. I tested them previous to install and then they did work with the control module when it was installed.

Did you contact the manufacturer to find out if the lights will function without the control box?

LED lights are usually polarity sensitive and will not work if you get the positive and negative connected backwards.

I did reach out. Haven't heard anything from Vision X as of yet.
