Im trying to install the Wolfbox g900 without using the drain plugs. So far I see two options. Run the cable under the front windshield and cowl i to engine bay and under jeep. Or drill through the plastic piece in the firewall, add a grommet and silicone to seal. I would prefer to go through the firewall to not ruin the seal I have on windshield but I cannot see a way through the pillar to the firewall. Am I missing something? I see a bunch of videos using this method but none on a gladiator. Pics would be very beneficial if you have a solution.

My rugged radios kit came with a new grommet to replace the plastic firewall cover by the vacuum booster so I've been shoving cable runs through that

I am getting prepared to install my Wolfbox, but wanted to add that I have already run several wires into/out of the cab by releasing the windshield and using the cowl area to run the wires. I have my Auxbeam 8 panel mounted at the top of the windshield on a molle panel to limit the number of cables I have run via the windshield.
No leaks, only issue is if you have extra wire, wind it up in the engine bay, not much room for extra wire if you run it up the windshield.
