Won’t start after being left out in the rain……

Have you tried pushing the start button with the fob? That’s what it says to do when the fob battery dies. Just a thought. Or it might have something to do with the shifter not sending the starter power through like when you place it in park? Maybe it got very wet in there

Yes I’ve tried pushing it with the fob. It says it’s in park and it shows park on the dash. Also tried starting with the neutral override on the center console and it doesn’t start. I have a buddy over helping, he know the electrical stuff better that I so if no update then we’re still trying to figure it out lol

there doesn’t seem to be any panel that is ment to be take off behind the rear seats? How would I locate the RF hub? Also there doesn’t seem to be anything burnt up, I’ve taken most of the dash off and everything still looks good

I would let a Jeep dealer look at it too many possibilities

I would try opening the garage door, put a fan in the floorboard, and let it air out and try to dry whatever water got into.
Ide also check all your fuses.

Took the roof off years ago. Rained a few days ago and now it won’t start. Electronics and infotainment all works fine. Replaced the starter and nothing changed. Battery is brand new, new battery in the key fob, still nothing. I should note though; immediately after it stopped raining I hopped in and pulled it into the garage where it all of the sudden wouldn’t turn off. I left it there to run and eventually came back out and it turned right off. Next day it started up just fine, now it won’t start again. I’m going crazy

I know you said you replaced the battery, but which one? Both? Could it be the the PCR is failing the start up test? Could be the Aux battery. I suppose you could pull f42 and rule this out.



It very well could have been a battery related no start and turned into an induced error.
