Z60 recall

I had the new recall done today and the dealer said my pcm was already up to date so it wasn’t flashed. Can anybody else let me know if they’re being told the same? My build date is December 2021. It’s a 2022 gladiator

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION NOTIFICATION Powertrain Control Module Software Dear [Name], Because your long-term satisfaction is important to us, we are contacting you on important improvements we would like to make to your vehicle [1] . This will be done at no charge to you. We are recommending the following improvements be performed on certain [2021 – 2022 Model Year (JT) Jeep Gladiator] vehicles equipped with a 3.6L engine. WHY DOES MY VEHICLE NEED REPAIRS? The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) software on your vehicle may cause the engine to run rough, misfire or illuminate the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL).

In your situation I would suspect the dealership was not up to date on this one: Call the FCA Recall Assistance Center at 1-800-853-1403. An agent can confirm part availability and help schedule an appointment

I contacted my dealer yesterday. My 2022's VIN was not among them. They were very aware of the campaign.

My '21 has this showing on My Garage on the Mopar.com site that I am registered on.. My dealer said come in next week.

You said in an early post that you went in to have it done. Because of that. They may have removed you from the recall.

Well, you still took it in and they checked on it, and you wasn't on it. So they may have removed you from the recall.

I got mine yesterday. Waiting for the dealer's recall coordinator to confirm tomorrow for the appointment. I haven't had any symptoms.

I just got Z60 in the mail. I guess I’ll call tomorrow and ask about it. I already had Z37 done a while ago.

Mine had changed the wording for only certain 21 model year vehicles. Is that what yours said?

Mine got done today. No symptoms before or after. 22 Mojave. Not sure about production date.

I got Z37 done not long ago. Letter looked very similar. Just got contacted today about Z60...

Perhaps the Z37 moved the dial a little too far and this moved it back.
MPG looks about the same, but I might be holding 8th a little more now.

Had Z60 done this morning. Service said there was one other one they did too. It wasn't Z37 as I had that done months ago...

Makes sense since it's going to relearn things again. I had a flash done on my 2020 early on - totally changed the personality of things, especially the transmission shift points............. for a few weeks. Then it settled back into its old ways.
Mine shifted quicker, a bit harsher, and just felt more solid - for a while.
