This has been on my list as well......I have a Dodge 70U housing sitting on the shelf, but have not seen any housing ends available yet, looking for a damaged housing like you!

Are you planing to use off the shelf 35 spline axles?

Any of the link bracket kits come with geometry correction built in?

Edit: It appears that Motobilt has brackets that raise the upper control arm mounting up a bit.

I'll probably never get to this project, but I will still keep my eyes open for collecting parts!

Going to reuse the spring pads - shock - lower control arm mounts from donor axle. Already planning on raising the pinion up 5* over stock

You might consider the aftermarket brackets now while you are building. The binding in the stock suspension geometry is not good for flexy builds or changing driveline angles.

For a simple test, just jack up your truck now and observe what the pinion does as it droops......you will probably change your mind!

What’s work?
That’s how my day started. Stared at Jeeps parts in particular a Ford 8.8 project and lost interest immediately, Restrung two Hoyts and built arrows instead, much better.

I’m running the RockKrawler Triangulated upper arms - not really an issue with pinion angle at droop anymore 😁

Awesome skills man!

Teach us more about axles!
What are you doing that will make it free floating?

What is the bar that is going across inside the differential housing? some kind of alignment bar?

Another thing that came to mind today as a straiten/sleeve another JK housing..........

I would have welded the ends on last after all the control arm brackets/truss were welded on. I'm sure your tubes are pretty heavy, but I have found the housing is never strait after welding. Nothing a little heating/cooling to straiten the tubes can't fix if it pulls a little though?
